Filling Your Heart
For me, meditation isn’t about clearing my mind, it’s about filling my heart.
For me, meditation isn’t about clearing my mind, it’s about filling my heart.
Beyond all the goals, resolutions, and plans for the future, you — just as you are today — are worthy of love and acceptance.
Underneath we’re all the same, perfectly imperfect, doing what we can, making our way through life, searching for a warm blanket and a tender hand to hold.
If we truly desire to quell the terror of the world, we must first have the courage to meet our own fear with love and compassion.
We don’t overcome loneliness, we learn to embrace it. In the arms of self-love, loneliness slowly loosens its grip, and we realize that we’re not alone.
I wonder if by constantly looking outward and finding things to fix we’ve become a society that doesn’t know how to look inside and love what we find.
